Pastoral Staff

Rev. James and Sis. Bonnie Smelser are a tremendous blessing to First Pentecostal Church. Bro. Smelser serves as an Assistant to the Pastor. He is a man of conviction, prayer and dedication. His leadership and influence is an invaluable asset to this assembly. He has served in various capacities in other churches throughout the years, including service on the Pastoral Team of Christian Life Center in Stockton, California under the leadership of the late Rev. Kenneth Haney. Bro. Smelser is a licensed minister of the UPCI, a master carpenter & builder; a man with vision and passion. We are grateful for their service to First Pentecostal Church. 

Rev. Jimmy & Sis. Doris Loven serve as Youth Pastors of FPC Trumann. They are wonderful people with a burden for the work of God. The Lovens have been married for seven years and are currently expecting their first child! Bro. Loven is from Trumann, Sis Doris grew up in the West Memphis and Wynne, AR. areas. They are servants at heart and serve, selflessly, the members of this church. Bro. Loven is a licensed minister with the UPCI and serves Section Five as Youth Secretary.
